Alison’s yoga journey began with a regular Bikhram practice in London in 2008. After lengthy flirtations with Ashtanga in Sydney and ‘Power’ Yoga in Los Angeles, she completed her teacher training at Semperviva Yoga in Vancouver. Alison believes in the tradition of yoga as a lifestyle and the importance of incorporating asana (postures), pranayama (breath) and yogic philosophy into daily life. Her classes involve strong Hatha-Vinyasa yoga, focusing on the importance of incorporating breath and meditation into the physical practice.
