Co-owner at Bella Yoga in Richmond. My love for yoga started in 2007 as I began searching for a way to manage life’s ups and downs. At the time, I was working at a busy corporate office, going to school part-time, and trying to cope with a minor health challenge. I soon discovered a newfound peace on and off of my mat. From that grew an appreciation for the practice of yoga. Not only did I find this sense of peace, but I began to notice my own transformation of mind, body & spirit. Inspired by my teachers and their offerings, my passion for teaching was ignited and soon I found myself on a new journey sharing the gift of yoga with others.
I am RYT-200 (Registered with the Yoga Alliance) with an additional 100+ hours of advanced teacher training which includes therapeutic yoga and being certified by Judith Hanson Lasater as a Restorative Yoga Teacher. From Gentle and Restorative Yoga to Vinyasa Flow, I teach accessible yoga for all levels with a strong emphasis on alignment, safety in asana, sequencing and building strength in body, mind and spirit.
When I am not practicing yoga or creating sequences and playlists, you will find me traveling or behind the camera photographing life as it unfolds. I love exploring new cities and mountainous landscapes with my mat in one hand and camera in the other.
