Alyssa is inspired by her students and hopes that they walk away from class feeling that same inspiration. Her teaching style encourages introspection, a willingness to try something new, and lots of laughter! She is driven by the philosophy to work hard and play harder!
Yoga began as a physical practice to heal the stress and strain that Alyssa put on her body from running and cycling. It has developed into a holistic practice that has impacted her mind and spirit.
She earned her 200 hour yoga certification through Awaken Yoga School in 2012 and continued with the certification process by completing her 300 hour certification in 2014. Alyssa has been a fitness instructor since 2008 in a variety of styles including cycling, pilates, and boot camp. While passionate about various forms of yoga, she currently teaches Deep Stretch and Hatha yoga classes.
