Amanda challenges her students while offering a safe and open place to express themselves, relax, and connect. Her classes are geared toward students who push beyond their limits as well as those that have yet to explore their limits. Honoring and learning these limitations in the body and mind are the stepping-stones for growth. With breath control and careful sequencing of poses, students are challenged to be true to themselves and be open to the discovery and journey of their practice. Guidance is given with imagination to help students obtain awareness and connection to the spirit.
Amanda trained and became certified at Alternative Health Group in Chicago and has since dedicated herself to teaching and developing her personal practice by exploring different styles. Those styles include Iyengar, Anusara, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Forrest Yoga and other Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga inspired teachings. Through her experiences, she has cultivated a creative and intelligent style that speaks to many. All levels are welcome in her classes.
