Amanda encourages students to look inwards and recognise their strength and freedom. She approaches the practice with an inquiring mind, an open heart and laughter. She has experienced the therapeutic benefits of the practice, and aims to make the practice accessible to everyone.
With a strong focus on physical alignment she weaves philosophy, mythical stories and tales of the everyday to help connect students to their body, mind, breath and the practice of yoga, while encouraging mindful living off the mat.
Amanda has trained in various yoga methods including Vinyasa and alignment based Hatha yoga. She is certified Anusara-Inspired and Yoga Tune Up teacher. She has also studied anatomy and yoga therapeutics and is a trained massage therapist specialising in relaxation and Thai Yoga massage.
Amanda teaches Anusara, Restorative, Yoga Tune Up and Meditation classes. She also offers privates and specialises in working with rehabilitating injuries. She also facilitates a 200 hour Foundation Yoga Teacher Training (RYS200) and teaches courses and workshops.
