I believe being a teacher means being a student. Through my disciplined study and practice of yoga, I am constantly learning new approaches to teaching and arriving at new understandings when it comes to yoga. Yoga is the place where we meet the challenge of transforming the self, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I hope as a teacher, who’s down to earth, that I share my enthusiasm for yoga and my journey with it as a testimony of the power yoga can have in our lives, if we commit ourselves to our practice. Inspired by poetry, cooking and music, I enthusiastically approach teaching yoga with an open heart, acute awareness, and a sense of humor, which are evident in my teaching style. During class, my goal is to help participants connect their practice with their breath to help them find peace, joy, strength, and stillness that they can carry into their daily lives.
