Amanda is very passionate about all areas of Health and Wellbeing she has been working in the Health & Fitness industry since 1994, during this time she has taught a range of regular classes from Body Balance, Pilates, Spinning, Aqua and Body Pump. Amanda used to compete in sprint triathlons, it was then that she realised she needed something to compliment her training. That’s when she originally discovered Yoga and Pilates, she’s not a naturally flexible person and started practising purely for the physical and postural benefits to aid her training.

After having her children, she experienced a few years of re-occurring lower back issues and was no longer able to run without pain. This is where her passion and enthusiasm for hot yoga grew, the physical benefits of less back pain were what drew Amanda back to a regular practise however she found the hot room gave her more physical, emotional and spiritual benefits. She was inspired by those who taught her in the hot room and eventually she decided to follow her heart and complete her Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Yoga with Yoga Professionals with Conrad Paul in London. This was a profound life changing experience for Amanda where she felt was drawn to share her love for yoga!

Amanda has an easy going style with her teaching. Her yoga classes have strong focus on alignment aiming to achieve the balance between strength and ease, while her clinical and post rehabilitation approach to Pilates enables her classes to understand, find and use their ‘inner core muscles’ efficiently and effectively. She has a warmth and enthusiasm understanding that everyone is unique and moves in different ways, with clear instructions and a watchful eye, using breathe and movement she ensures everyone reaches their full potential in class.
