As a teacher I intend to hold the space for yoga to be experienced and remembered. I hope that we each return to wisdom of the heart and find peace and joy with the body. I started practicing Yoga in High School inspired by a Kundalini VHS cassette tape that had somehow found its way to me. I was a young mother having my son at 19 and during this time I immersed myself in Prenatal Yoga and Tantric Practice. It is no question that the practice of Yoga has altered the path of my life. I went through a couple of years inspired by hot yoga and branched back into Kundalini as well as Sivananda, integral yoga, Kripalu and Anusara during my first yoga teacher training. I had the opportunity to work for the International Association of Yoga Therapists as the membership manager for a few years and my work with them inspired me to deepen my studies of Yoga Therapy. I studied with Mukunda Stiles who I am forever grateful for he really shared with me the fruits of yoga, the wisdom of adapting to the individual and honoring the heart the inner teacher.
