After spending her adult years living an unhealthful, sedentary lifestyle, Amy began practicing yoga in 2009 as a way to physically heal her body. She found that yoga brought her not only physical healing and strength - it also helped heal the emotional scars caused by the profound loss of her sister. Amy has been blessed enough to take every opportunity to learn MORE, attending numerous clinics, trainings, and workshops with master teachers. After moving across the country to the Pacific Northwest, Amy chose to follow her passion for yoga by attending Power Vinyasa Teacher Training, leaving a 17-year career as a special education teacher. She is now a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and living her dream! Amy has found that the practice of yoga is an ongoing, inspiring journey of learning and growth in mind, body, and spirit. Amy holds the space for possibility and success in each and every practitioner. She creates for her students a fun, strong yet accessible practice designed for all to find health, power, and peace!
