In 1990 I began kung-fu. I loved the way I learned to move and the level of self discipline I attained through years of practice. 12 years later, as motherhood arrived my focus turned towards the more grounded and meditative practice of yoga. I am dedicated to facilitating an authentic yoga class which includes pranayama (breathe control), Asana (postures), mantra &mudra (chanting and hand placements). I aspire to bring a sense of vitality and well-being to my class while encouraging students to have fun. My passions include yoga, meditation and farming. Currently I am studying therapeutic yoga, and am working towards attaining accreditation as a yoga therapist. I am a co-facilitator at Ahimsa Yoga and Wellness in Sooke, as well as a farm operator at Barefoot Farm.
