Over 19 years ago on a rainy Friday night, Amy Sullivan, leaving her gym frustrated because of chronic knee pain from injuries sustained during her career as a collegiate level athlete and professional dancer - decided to try yoga for the first time because Madonna did it! Who knew that 10 years later she would devote the next 10 years of her life teaching classes and workshops, facilitating teacher trainings, leading international retreats and providing yoga therapy and Ayurveda to private clients?? Thanks Madge!

She has 10 years of experience teaching yoga and 19 years of practicing and studying with a myriad of styles and teachers like Baron Baptiste, Ana Forrest, Yoga Kids’ Marsha Wenig, Boston’s Best David Vendetti /Todd Skoglund, Natasha Rizopoulos, Shiva Rea and now Yoga Therapy.

Amy’s inspiration for her style is multifaceted calling upon many different disciplines that combines Yoga Therapy, Ayurvedic principles, Yoga Anatomy, Chakras, Mantra, Meditation, Inspirations from classical yoga texts and inspired by rhythms of nature’s cycles. Her classes are heartfelt and intentional, creatively constructed to be challenging and compassionate in the structure of a vinyasa or restorative sequence that is filled with precise alignment, intuitive hands-on enhancements, light-hearted humor, a little sass and a lot of love.
