I began practicing yoga 13 years ago and have experienced many benefits of the practice, ranging from emotional healing to prevention of running injuries. Today, yoga remains a huge part of my life because it's fun and it helps me stay grounded while living and working in the stress-filled nation's capital. I earned my teaching certification in 2012 at Yoga District in Washington, DC and continue my studies at Willow Street Yoga Center in Takoma Park, MD. My goal for teaching is to introduce people to the power of yoga to heal our bodies on the mat and our interactions off the mat.
