I'm a New York-based Vinyasa Flow teacher with a focus on beginners. I completed my 200-hour teacher training at Sonic Yoga in Manhattan (NYC), studying under Lauren Hanna.
I came to yoga from a life of running, bad posture, and a hip injury at birth. Not an instant convert, I practiced on and off for years until I found Vinyasa.
Also known as Flow Yoga, Vinyasa is a juicy, sweaty blend of physical exercise, breathing techniques, and philosophy. As a busy young professional, I naturally loved Vinyasa: It gave me a workout, relieved stress, and helped me face my day with a sharper mind.
My classes bring a modern, Western understanding of health and anatomy to the time-tested, Eastern-inspired postures and breathing techniques of Hatha Yoga. I focus on teaching beginners, athletes adding yoga to an existing fitness routine, and women during and after pregnancy.
