Andrea came to the practice of yoga in 2004 to help deal with stress and anxiety. Once she began a regular practice, she began to notice the effects of yoga that extended beyond her mat. Andrea began learning about yoga through the gentle practice of Kripalu yoga, then discovered Vinyasa and Power Yoga, but found her true passions in the physical practice of Ashtanga and meditation practice of Yoga Nidra.
Her personal practice is a time when she can turn inward, tuning out the distractions of a busy life and then return with mindful breath, strength, and increased mental clarity.
She enjoys teaching all levels of students.
When not teaching Andrea can usually be found outdoors enjoying a walk through the woods with her dog and family or enjoying a paddle, and occasionally some yoga, on her stand up paddleboard.
