Andrea Dombrowski, is a licensed massage therapist, Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher, certified ACE personal fitness trainer with a speciality certification in Fitness Nutrition. She is a life long competitive athlete with thousands of hours of combined training, education and teaching, who brings enormous experience, knowledge, joy and enthusiasm for optimal well-being to her clients.
For over thirty years, sports, yoga, nutrition and helping others achieve their aspirations have been the foundation and driving force in her life. She achieved varsity athletic records in high school indoor/outdoor track & field, gymnastics and was on Penn State University's soccer and synchronized swim teams. Since 1989, she has competed in a myriad of athletic endeavors including over ten marathons, triathlons, adventure races, indoor/outdoor soccer, mountain climbing/bouldering, racquet sports, surfing and swimming. Presently she loves being a member of the winning Sarasota Sharks Masters Swim Team. She has studied, practiced, and taught yoga, personal fitness, and massage in various places including New York City, Colorado, India and Florida.
She truly enjoys sharing the transformative power of yoga to beginners, athletes, yoga "nay-sayers" and those "not sure about yoga". She developed Yoga4Triathletes (Y4T) while training and competing in triathlons and marathons in NYC and presently works with all sizes, shapes, ages to enhance their lives and "stretch their potential".
Throughout her life she has been a motivating inspirational leader for individuals to find and be their bravest, strongest, and most flexible self through the power of yoga, mindfulness, massage therapy, body work, heart health, balance and agility. Her experiences with the latter to overcome injuries, sustain intense athleticism and create new pathways in life has led her to deep understandings and methodologies for sustaining optimal well-being. Her simplicity, patience, compassion and meaningful connections with clients ranging from children to 80+ have helped them overcome obstacles, create new habits, feel great, breath better and attain their aspirations.
Her Joie de Vivre is creativity and adventure in cultivating opportunity to make the otherwise ordinary, extraordinary. She is an expert in building strong body-mind connections, running, handstands, core power, change management and calligraphy.
She is thankful for her family, friends, mentors, clients and the ability to cultivate, nourish, motivate and serve others in living their life to the fullest.
