Andrea is the passion in action, putting her whole self into each and every one on one personal training session, group class, or workshop, driven to see you succeed.

With over 10 years in the industry, Andrea’s experience teaching and training at many different gyms, facilities, and corporate environments around the Greater Toronto Area and Ottawa, across the country, and throughout the world has enabled her to effectively work with people of all fitness levels as well as different age groups, abilities and cultures.

Andrea has helped thousands of individuals discover the joy of exercise, adopt a healthier lifestyle, and achieve their goals.

But she remembers her days before becoming a self-declared fitness lover, like being sore for 4 days after her first group fitness cardio kickboxing class and grabbing fast food on the way home from a workout. She knows firsthand the struggles to lose weight and keep it off and her clients feel at ease knowing she’s been there too.

She built her entire career and knowledge base by finding the answer to the questions she didn’t know, and continues to do so today.

Andrea is devoted to keeping up with current trends and research in health and fitness. She is constantly seeking new ideas to bring more to her clients by maintaining her education and participating in a variety of workshops and classes around the world.

Talks the Talk, Walks the Walk

Committed to her own personal health and fitness, Andrea weight trains several times per week, practices yoga, is mindful of a healthy diet (with the occasional treat of course!) using the same tracking tools she recommends to clients, and attends group classes when she can. Although she doesn’t consider herself a runner per say, she has successfully participated in several 5 and 10km races plus trained for and completed two half marathons (21.1km).

Certified by the internationally renowned Canadian Association of Fitness Professionals (canfitpro), Andrea is a Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition & Wellness Specialist, Group Fitness Instructor, and Pre- and Post-Natal Fitness Specialist.

Recognized by the Yoga Alliance as a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher obtaining her training living amongst the Costa Rican jungle for an intensive 15 days with Marianne Wells’ Yoga School, she is also a Certified Rainbow Kids™ Yoga Teacher. She has also obtained her certificate in Mat Pilates and is a Certified Spinning® Instructor.

Andrea is one of the six original Zumba® Education Specialists (ZES™) for Canada, teaching other instructors how to teach Zumba® fitness since 2009. She is currently licensing instructors across Canada for Basic 1, Basic 2 and Zumba® Kids + Zumba® Kids Jr. (formerly Zumbatomic®).
