Angela took her first yoga class at the age of 19 and felt an immediate connection to breath focused fitness. Swimming and Cross Country were some of her first athletic loves. Angela identified the body awareness gained through her yoga practice and its aid in relaxation. Angela began teaching in 2011 yet was still in search of more knowledge. She completed her RYT 200 certification at GRY, 2015 and leads classes Tuesdays at 5:30pm at Body Balance Yoga Studio in Albuquerque, NM.
Angela leads yoga flow classes that combine a dynamic love of movement with breath focused relaxation techniques. In her classes students learn to check back in with themselves and take a moment for their own personal practice. Angela believes in yoga as therapy that allows each individual to become present within their own body in order to better assess their personal physical needs.
