An optimist and lover of sunsets, Angela began practicing meditation as a way to heal emotional pain. She first studied Vipassana meditation and immediately began teaching classes to adults struggling with intimate relationships and self-love. Angela earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology and approaches counseling in a holistic way. She has incorporated deep breathing techniques in her work with children who struggle with behavioral problems in Washington Mindfulness techniques are included in her sessions with adults diagnosed with chronic mental health conditions. She is a co-founder of The Studio, an after-school program that encourages adolescents to express themselves through original music creation. Her curriculum incorporates guided meditation in order to assist adolescents in overcoming stage fright and building self-esteem.
