I came to yoga through the physical, Asana practice. As a modern dancer, I was drawn to the elements of strength, flexibility, and balance yoga offers. I quickly found there is much more to a Yoga practice than the Asana postures. I started to incorporate the practices of Yoga into every aspect of life, inspired to live in the moment, take time to breath, trust my intuition and let my heart be my guide. I began a dedicated yoga practice in my last few years living in New York City where I had been for nearly a decade. I was able to slow down to listen and ultimately my intuition guided me back to my hometown of Portland in 2012.

Having spent 8 years also teaching Pilates and other movement modalities, I consider myself a forever student of the body. Truly connecting to movement is physical, emotional, and spiritual. This is my passion. I am truly moved when connecting with people, learning, and sharing with others. I enjoy incorporating practices from my diverse background into a fun, challenging, and soul connecting flow.
