I was born, bred and educated in Tucson, Ariz. where most of my family still lives.
I was a journalism major at the University of Arizona. I worked in newspapers for about seven years.
After that I worked in the legal department of a biotech for about 9 years ending as a patent and trademark paralegal.
I have been practicing yoga since June 2007.
From Sept. 2013 to June 2014 I attended Piedmont's 250 Hour Yoga Teacher Training.
Soon after I quit my corporate job and started teaching.
In December 2014 I received my certification from Madd Dog SPINNING to teach indoor cycling classes.
In January 2015 I moved to Portland. And my teaching career took off.
I have a weekly theme and focus in my yoga classes. I challenge my students but also encourage them to listen to their bodies and honor their bodies through their practice.
I heavily focus on alignment, anatomy, modifications and being safe while exploring our practice.
