Based in East London, Anna has been teaching yoga since 2003 and tailors her sequences to take into account the inherent movement patterns and physical imbalances so common to a modern urban chair-sitting lifestyle. Both challenging and nurturing, her classes are structured to work in layers that slowly build in intensity, with enough repetition so you experience progress, but also variation so you continue to be challenged. Biomechanically preparing your
muscles, connective tissue and nervous system so that the physical challenges are both safe, and available.
She teaches with warmth and presence in a style that is both inclusive and accessible.
“Yoga reconnects you with the present moment, allowing you to arrive back in your body. Letting go of the need to know what is coming next, and the anxiety that often accompanies that need. It is this profound connection that makes yoga such a transformational practice.”
