Anna discovered Yoga at the age of fifteen, following a serious hip injury that ensued after extensive training for long-distance running competitions and aerobic marathons in Cyprus. With a background of classical ballet and modern dance spanning thirteen years, she is also an avid athlete covering a broad spectrum of sports. An asthmatic from a young age, after practicing yoga for some time she realised that there was no need for her asthma inhaler any longer.
Whilst simultaneously studying for her law degree, she embarked on the journey to become a certified yoga teacher and soon after a certified AcroYoga teacher (making her the youngest certified AcroYoga teacher at the time). Anna has international teaching and training experience and was blessed to study with many gifted teachers like Dharma Mittra, Elena Voyce, Jason Nemer & Jenny Sauer-Klein, Sharon Gannon & David Life, Emma Henry and Durga Devi.
Inspired by AcroYoga, Jivamukti and Dharma Mittra, her classes are challenging, dynamic and fast paced. They mirror her passion for backbends, arm balances and inversions. With her Thai Massage background, classes can also have a therapeutic focus.
Anna has been featured in many newspapers and magazines in the UK and has appeared on Sky Active Channel & Fitness TV.
