Anna has been practicing since 2004 and believes that Yoga is a worthy answer to many issues in our life, physically, mentally and spiritually.
She has been teaching Yoga since 2010 after studying in Coonoor India where she got her certification as a Hatha Yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance International. In 2011 she completed her Prenatal Anusara Yoga training with Sue Elkind. She is a student of Iyengar Yoga since 2010 and after 2.5+ years of study in May 2016 she was certified as an Iyengar Yoga teacher from the Iyengar Yoga Association UK. She has studied with Penny Chapman (Iyengar's student 40+ years), Sharat Arora (Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Center), Martin Chenic, Angela Farmer, Konstadinos Giannetakis and George Batistakis. Anna is also a graphic designer, has a degree in Psychology from the American College in Greece (Deree College) and is a passionate animal lover that devotes a lot of time to helping stray animals in Greece.
She believes that Yoga is the antidote to the western way of life and her intention is to pass this knowledge on as is practically possible. Winning her over from the first moment she is a fan of detail, faithfully following the alignment of the Iyengar Yoga System. Anna's lessons have a spirit of self exploration with a detailed guidance in technique to ensure a safe practice and complete concentration.
