After graduating from college and spending a few years behind a desk, I began noticing changes in my body and mind that were propelled by mounting stress and hours of sitting, day after day. Then everything shifted. I left my corporate gig, and embarked on a journey to give myself what I truly needed.
I trained under Annie Carpenter and received my 200-hour certification from her SmartFLOW Yoga Alliance Registered School. This year, I'm returning for an additional 100 hours with Annie, and am grateful to share what I'm learning from this forever-unfolding practice.
In my classes, you can expect a strong focus on the physical nature of asanas. Proper alignment for your body - the movement of muscles, safety of joints, and position of bones - makes for a challenging, accessible practice for everyone, from beginners to seasoned yogis.
