My yoga journey began when I moved to Poland in 2005. Practicing as a student with an amazing teacher whom had been qualified by Iyenger. As my practice deepened I decided I wanted to explore other styles to deepen my knowledge. I practiced Sivananda and Ashtanga Yoga. It was Ashtanga that I found my place developing a bond with this dynamic form of practice. I started to spend more time on the mat at the studio then at home.
I then went on to complete a 50hr Ashtanga training course under the instruction of Basia Lipska. The next phase of my journey took me to America where I studied Vinyasa Flow and Hath Interdisciplinary
completing my 200hr teacher training.
My philosophy is that the true challenge begins with the mind and not with fancy poses that require greater flexibility. By addressing and challenging the mind, to gain access from the body centre – harnessing and drawing out the potential from within.
In 2008, I received my Kriya Yoga initiation from my Guru Swami Vishwananda, a scared form of meditation practice. And his blessing to teach the Om healing circle, an ancient healing technique of the Rishis or ancient sages of India. Brought from the Himalayas back into the world to bring healing and balance in people and nature. Om Healing is part of the Atma Kriya yoga system and is practiced with a group of people to expand the powerful healing vibration of Om. It restores balance in a person physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually and supports meditation practices. It helps to release emotions such as fear, tension pride and replaces it with love, peace, happiness and health.
