I have trained as a teacher with both the British Wheel of Yoga and in the Sivananda tradition. I am also qualified in teaching Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) with the Satyananda tradition.
My main areas of interest are in 'yoga for those who think they can't do it!'. I believe passionately that the benefits of yoga are accessible for all; 'If you can breathe, you can do yoga!'
I offer classes with a slightly gentler approach aimed at seniors or those with health issues.
I also offer chair based classes, combining movement, breathing and relaxation techniques, which can be used by those with mobility issues but which are also fantastic and fun when used in an office environment!
My other yoga passion is Kirtan. I play harmonium, and offer an introductory workshop into Bhakti yoga, accessing the heart space through mantra and devotional chanting.
