Annie Garlock

To all the teachers that came before me, I have gratitude for what they undertook. I’ve learned from every teacher and every class I have taken. I’ve learned from every student and every class I have taught. Yoga has taught me to be a student of myself and a student of life.

I have been practicing yoga since college and as my responsibilities grew, so did the importance of my practice. I began to crave the feeling of being grounded and centered. My practice has made me slow down, become more aware of my thought patterns & feel more present in my life. Without yoga, my life would look completely different today. I would not be living from my heart and embracing every moment. I am more awake to the life I am creating.

I feel all styles of yoga are valuable. As your journey evolves, what resonates with you may change. I have completed 500 hour teacher training with Cyndi & Carly Weis. I have completed pranayama teacher training with Francois Raoult. I am currently studying 200 hour essential teacher training with Francois Raoult. I look forward to continuing my studies of yoga as a lifelong learner.
