Anthea has been a devoted practitioner of Yoga for the past 13 years. In 2009 she deepened her practise by completing teacher training in ISHTA Yoga with Rachel Zinman in Byron Bay. ISHTA in sanskrit means individual. This style of Yoga aims to create a class that accommodates the individual needs of her students by incorporating Ayurveda principles, Tantra (Yantra & Mantra) into a Hatha/Vinyasa style flowing class. Pranayama and meditation is also incorporated giving an excellent all round balance to a yoga class.
Anthea has been teaching yoga for the past 4 years and has also competed training in prenatal Yoga with Janice Clarfield. She is dedicated to increasing her knowledge and practice of yoga by regularly attending workshops with teachers both in Australia and
overseas. Anthea loves being able to share her Yoga and knowledge with others and with her gentle approach she connects well with her students.
