Antoine Tinawi is a direct disciple of world renowned spiritual master Sri Sri Ravi Shankar with whom he travels, studies, and teaches yoga in all its aspects (postures, breathing techniques, meditation, mantras, service, devotion and philosophy). Since 1993, Antoine has accumulated 2,500 hours of formal yoga and meditation training with the Art of Living, the School of Sri Sri Yoga, with Sivananda Yoga, and in Ashtanga Yoga. He has also studied Kundalini Yoga, Yin Yoga, Chair Yoga and Thai Yoga. Antoine is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT500; the highest designation for yoga teachers and has served on their Schools and Studios Advisory Group. From 2008 to 2011, Antoine was the founder and director of the Montreal Art of Living Centre as well as the Canadian Yoga coordinator for the Art of Living.
Since 2012 Antoine has lauched and co-owns 3 yoga studios Om West- Pointe-Claire, Om West - Saint-Laurent and Om West - Lachine in Montreal. He offers 200h and 300h Yoga Alliance certified Teacher Training Programs each year and is a regular presenter at large yoga events and conferences locally and internationally. Antoine has a Master's Degree in Urban Planning from McGill University, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 10 years of experience in the field. He is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMQ) and a Certified Ayurvedic Therapist (ANQ) with formal training in over a dozen techniques.
