I teach vinyassa flow classes deeply inspired by the PranaFlow™ style of yoga created by Shiva Rea. My classes flow and move as we explore together the movement of Prana (the essential life force). Joyful movements help us to find strength, flexibility, and balance in body and mind. Together we dance to the rhythm of the breath and the seasons.
I teach multi-level classes offering a variety of asana (posture) options and encourage each of my student-friends to follow their own innate wisdom. My students have described my classes as inclusive, accessible, and authentic.
I completed my teacher training in May 2011 (RYT-200) and have been teaching ever since. I currently teach three weekly classes one at Elevation Rock Gym at 8:30pm on Wednesday and two at the Smithfield Recreation Center: Thursdays, 8pm is a multi-level class for healthy adults and Mondays, 10am is a gentle class making use of chairs, straps, and blocks for those who need additional support.
