You have within yourself all of the knowledge and the power to pursue your own best self. I'm just here to help you peel away the layers and try to find it. I want you to feel comfortable in your skin and to have a solid spacial and body awareness.
The idea is that you get to know yourself (your inner "self", your outer body, all of it) so well that you are getting the most out of your practice. And hopefully not just the practice of yoga on your mat, but the practice of your life off the mat, too. (Let's be honest, no one really knows for sure what we're doing here. Don't worry, you're not alone, we're all wingin' it just the same.)
I don't care if you can't touch your toes, can't stand on your head, or have no idea what the pose names are. Let's stretch however far today will allow, let's build some strength, and let's rest easy because there's no test at the end.
