I first sought out yoga as a remedy for chronic back pain. After discovering the healing, calming and spiritual potential, I decided I wanted to share the gift of yoga with others. In July 2014, I earned her 200hr RYT certificate at Yandara Yoga Institute on the Baja Peninsula in Mexico.
I am the co-founder of Sewing the Sacred Seed Retreats located in New Mexico, USA. Rejuvenating retreats that provide the tools to become your own greatest teacher through the practice of yoga.
My classes available to beginners, but interesting enough for more advanced practitioners, so every person is free to pursue their own practice. I am intuitive to my classes' needs and uses physical assists to help strengthen and deepen include intentions, pranayama, and meditation in her classes to bring a deeper connection between my students and their yoga practice.
I like to teach diverse classes, so I will do anything from restorative to a strength building Vinyasa. I enjoy doing fusion classes to add all the best things about the different types of yoga into an one hour or hour and a half class.
My main goal for teaching yoga is to spread spread the gift of yoga to as many people as possible. All my classes are donation based, and, in the warmer months, I teach yoga in the park. I want to share with the world the endless benefits of Yoga.
In order to make yoga available to everyone, I took the mini yogis teacher training with Shana Meyerson, founder of mini yogis. When I think about if I had yoga when I was seven, I know my life would have been a lot different. I want to give to our children: the opportunity of self love and acceptance, to be calm even when things get tough, and the ability to cultivate happiness, so that they may flourish into the uninhibited, loving beings we are all meant to be.
