After competing in sports at a national level, I began practicing yoga and have been teaching for over 10 years. I hold a degree in Sport Science and teach Anatomy & Physiology for Yoga and biomechanics for asana in teacher trainings, advanced trainings, conferences and workshops in Asia and North America.
My teaching is heavily influenced by my education and study in human movement, my personal practice and what my teachers have taught me. My main teachers are Paul Dallaghan (Thailand) and R. Sharath Jois (Mysore, India) in the Ashtanga Tradition.
Having experienced the benefits of regular practice through my twin pregnancy and postpartum period, I was inspired to create a Pre & Post Natal Yoga Teacher Training Program, which I now offer.
I am Canadian, and blessed to have taught in the United States, Europe, Mexico, Asia, the Caribbean. I am a part of the visiting faculty at Samahita Retreat - Yoga Thailand on the beautiful Island of Samui in Thailand as well I own and operate Ashtanga Yoga Victoria on Canada's west coast.
