I'm a hatha girl at heart, having started my yoga journey in 2002 with an Iyengar (alignment based) practice. This means that I love holding poses and breathing in order to create a mind-body connection. In 2015, I ventured away from my comfort zone and received my 200-hr certification in Baptiste Style power yoga. I'm currently pursuing my 500-hr certification with a concentration in Yin Yoga and mindfulness. Having experience in several styles of yoga allows me to create effective and functional flows. Yoga is for every 'body', from all walks of life. It shouldn't be limited to a certain type of person and I aim to make classes comfortable and fun for all! Whether this means encouraging gentleness in the body or bravery to explore your 'edge', I tend to modify flows on the fly as I evaluate the current state of my students.
