Ashley teaches gentle, restorative and vinyasa yoga. She became a certified yoga instructor in 2017. She has been practicing for over 6 years and has taught in Arcata and Eureka for 3 years. Yoga has helped her find peace of mind and greater clarity through breath awareness, concentration practices, and relaxation. Her teaching is about personal empowerment, developing body intelligence and honoring your body and its capabilities. To further her study of yoga she completed a fascia in asana and alignment training with Samantha Akers, and a physical adjustments training with Peggy Profant and Liz Heffernan. Apart from yoga she enjoys gardening, cooking and making herbal tinctures and salves.
