While aimlessly wandering through the aisles of Barnes and Noble in 2002, Ashley discovered Christy Turlington’s “Yogi-biography", Living your yoga: Creating a Life Practice. While this isn’t a sacred authority on the practice of yoga, it planted a mighty seed in her heart which grew slowly at first, but has now bloomed into exactly that: a life practice. Through the ups and downs, yoga as always been there, and Ashley seeks to share that space of solace with others. Her classes are full of imagery, creative sequences, and new challenges, designed to protect the mind from wandering and experience the body and self in new ways. She completed her Kunga Yoga Teacher Training at the Wilmington Yoga Center in 2013, but as also gleaned much from all the amazing teachers she has encountered along the way. Ashley would love to see all individuals find their own practice suiting their needs throughout their lifetime.
