Barbara is a committed yogini, staying dedicated to yoga both on and off the mat. Asana practice is one of her greatest passions, and she is always working to progress her own practice and pass these gifts on to her students. By cultivating connection to the present moment through breathe and intentional, thoughtful movement, we learn to live more fully in the beautiful vessel that is our body. We learn to take better care of ourselves, of which many of us are in such desperate need. By combining rigorous asana with soulful stretches, we create a sense of balance in the body. And balance equals peace. Barbara will help you in your journey to cultivate balance on your mat, so that you can manifest that balance into your daily life off your mat.
Her classes focus on aligning breath with building strength, flexibility and balance, while combining intelligent sequencing with positive energy and intention. As a yoga teacher, her greatest goal is to help her students realize what they are truly capable of, physically, mentally and emotionally. Her classes are always suitable for all levels.
