My name Beatriz Juarez, I am from Mexico City, living in Baja since 2002 and recently moved to Yucatan Peninsula, at Puerto Morelos, town near Cancun; I’ve been practicing yoga since childhood (my grandmother taught me, while she practiced for her asthma) daily practitioner since 2003. In 2012 after a couple of years of really bad health I decided to use yoga to heal my body and from there started my path as yoga therapist and teacher. Paramanand Institute of Yoga Science and Research in India is my Alma mater, learning from the source with Ayurveda doctors, doctors in yoga therapy, meditation, Hatha yoga and yoga philosophy was the greatest experience, I learned to guide people to the self-healing path, using Yoga, Ayurveda and Naturopathy. I am a certified member of Yoga Alliance and the International Association of Yoga Therapy among other Indian and International yoga associations.
As a healer I’ve experienced the magic of yoga first on me, diagnosed with fibromyalgia after a year of treatment I reduce my medication intake and years later I am able to live a full life and without medicines; only yoga. I am a living proof that yoga improves your health and I would love to share how you can do it too.
Yoga therapy classes are a space to learn how to activate your self-healing powers with all the love and compassion to our body, mind and soul. From a simple back pain to anxiety, diabetes, chronic pain or gastric imbalances you will be able to learn how to relax, detox and restore your body. Chair, bolsters and other props could be used to facilitate your practice.
Gentle yoga classes are for health, flexibility and strength seekers, all levels; we will practice hatha yoga in a slow pace a mix between vinyasa and yin yoga, constructing poses step by step, learning alignment and basics of yoga as mudras, mantras, bandhas and pranayamas.
