I was introduced to yoga over twenty years ago as a student of photography in Melbourne and was completely inspired. My background in dance led me to study all forms of Ashtanga yoga; I was swept away with the moving meditation!
Time moved on…after the birth of our second child in 2014, practice shifted to a deeper, slower, intuitively restorative and appropriately dynamic practice. I completed training in prenatal and postnatal yoga and as our children grew, expanded my knowledge and completed children’s and family yoga teacher training. As a committed mother and passionate radio broadcaster, I was drawn to the deeply restorative and balancing practice of yin yoga. I have returned to where I began and now practice as a maturing student with dedicated Iyengar Yoga teacher Alan Goode in Canberra.
Yoga nurtures mental and physical strength and contributes to universal union and peace. I consider yoga a devotional consciousness practice. I am grateful for its constant source of insight, energy, humility and wisdom. I am a passionate humanitarian and lover of nature, constantly inspired by music, dance, and story telling through all mediums. I feel compelled to continue to learn as I follow the path of yoga teaching, following the curious heart.
