Ben Ward teaches Vinyasa as it is taught in two complementary schools. He trained in the therapuetic application of breath centered Yoga (Vinyasa Krama), as well as the more athletic expressions of breath centered practice (Ashtanga Vinyasa). He completed his first 300 hour training under the guidance of Kerry Porter in Spring 2014. Soon after he traveled to India to exlore the source of these teachings. He participated in the Heart of Yoga Course at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram (KYM) where he learned Vinyasa Krama techniques from senior students of TKV Desikachar. After completing his studies at KYM, he traveled to Mysore where he studied Mudra and Pranayama at Mysore Mandela Yoga Shala from Sri BNS Iyengar, a disciple of both Krishnamacharya and Pattabi Jois. He also completed a 200 hour Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training at Mysore Ashtanga Yoga Shala under Ramesh ji. Ben looks forward to sharing his knowlege with others.
