Bérénice has been practicing Yoga passionately for more than 17 years, studying different approaches from Iyengar, Astanga, Vinyasa, to Shadow and YinYoga, to become more creative in her own practice and teaching. She teaches a style of slow Vinyasa flow, with an emphasis on alignment, core strength and energetic sequencing. She also loves teaching Yin and restorative Yoga, Meditation and Yoga Nidra.
The sequences consider student's health / age group / constitution and time of the year - the connection to the breath and moving energy in the body, by incorporating Pranayama, Relaxation and Meditation techniques inspired from the Hatha Yoga Tradition, Tantra and Ayurveda.
Her practice and teaching have been greatly influenced by her main teacher, Rod Stryker, considered as one of the most preeminent yoga and meditation teachers in the United States. She has also studied with Aadil Palkhivala, Doug Keller and Shiva Rea.
Bérénice lives Yoga as an experiment and through the eyes of an explorer. Beyond the physical benefits of Yoga, she hopes to convey its emotional and energetic effects in the most comprehensive and open-minded way to help students find their own path (Dharma) and create a most fulfilling life.
