Beth, a Long Island native, was introduced to sports at an early age. Her range was broad including cheerleading, football, basketball and, eventually, yoga. Athleticism was a healthy outlet from the stresses and pressures placed on her by peers. In 2010, Beth graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor’s in Health Science and a concentration in Emergency & Critical Care. Before graduating Beth was in a committed relationship that evolved into something extremely abusive. Although she ultimately freed herself from a dangerous situation the effects were long lasting. Years of personal self work and healing allowed her to view the world in a manner that radiated hope and union. As a result of this expanded world view, and a desire to help others find the unity, she started looking for a way to combine her love of yoga and healing.
Beth studied with Jennie Wilson, RN, LMT, E-RYT and Laurie Ahlemann, E-RYT to earn her 200 hours Teacher Training Certification and is currently pursuing her 500 hour advanced training. Her classes, and general approach to yoga, are infused with honesty and empowerment. Finding a way to combine her passion of athletics and yoga, Beth teaches a powerful Vinyasa Flow to athletes, combining different poses based on their particular sports. Her classes infuse strength & power into the practice to inspire confidence and a sense of well being.
