Beth Rutty is a Registered Yoga Teacher (500 hours) and Yoga Therapist (300 hours) who has trained in the style of Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga since 1999. In 2007, she discovered Anusara Yoga; a practice that changed her life. She trained for 400 hours and received the designation of Anusara-Inspired Yoga Teacher. In 2011, with a desire to serve in a deeper way, she completed a 300 Yoga Therapy course. She has also received a 60 hour Therapeutic Restorative Yoga Certificate and completed a 60 hour Thai Yoga Massage course. More recently she has begun to study Yoga Therapeutics with Doug Keller.

One of Beth’s hopes is to bring the healing and empowering aspects of yoga practices to more people – despite limitations or pain and to offer alternative practices of healing that will compliment traditional western methods. Yoga is for everyone! Her Gentle Yoga classes provide a yoga experience for an underserved population and her advanced classes offer an ever-growing depth for the continuing student. Whether in a chair, or on a yoga mat Beth teaches a blended style of yoga that is an exploration of inner goodness through breath and body using anatomical principles of alignment and balanced action in all poses and yoga therapy techniques.
