I was born and raised in Topeka Ks. After High School I moved to the East Coast, living in New York and Rhode Island. I have a degree in Applied Science that I received from Newbury College in Brookline MA and have been a licensed Physical Therapy Asst since 1997. I fell in love with Yoga after a friend brought me to a Power Yoga Class in Smithfield RI 16 years ago. I then began my certification process very soon after my first class. To me the science I knew from college and the teachings of yoga went hand in hand. I moved back to Ks in 2007 and opened Half Moon in 2008, in addition to providing physical therapy service through various local health care companies.
