Brandy Hill, RYT500, discovered yoga in early 2001 while working a high-stress recruiting job in Boston. She joined a gym and found a class offered once a week during lunch. The job didn’t last, but her curiosity and desire for yoga did! Always wanting to be a yoga teacher when she “grew up”, the final inspiration came while expecting her first child. Brandy pursued her dream and obtained her 200 hour training at Frog Pond Yoga Centre in Princeton, MA. She studied under Shanti Diane Featherstone and was inducted into Dr. Rao’s lineage. She later completed her 300-hour training in 2015. Brandy is a Reiki Master and regularly incorporates Reiki to enhance her students' yoga experience. Brandy is a firm believer that yoga is a life-long journey and continually furthers her studies through ongoing trainings and workshops.
Brandy became a yoga teacher to share her devotion of yoga with the world. Yoga brings her inner strength, patience and has helped her be a better version of herself. Brandy is not attached to one style of yoga and teaches a variety of classes. She is passionate about prenatal yoga and adores the natural heat and openings found in Vinyasa classes, but also enjoys slowing things down and teaching gentler classes. She finds it fascinating and gratifying to witness transformations in her students’ bodies and minds. Brandy is honored to be guiding and mentoring a new generation of yoga teachers in the Nashua community!
Brandy is most passionate about being a mom, her family, guiding people to love and be who they are, and fostering community.
Brandy was voted Best Yoga Instructor Nashua in the Hippo’s Best of 2013 & 2014 Readers Polls! Thank you to the BTY community for your votes and your support!
