Dr. Brenda Taylor has spent her whole life studying movement. With sound educational roots in the northeast, she earned a Bachelors of Science in Health Education in 2002 while studying meditation, yoga, alternative health, and mental/social health. After years of teaching dance, she shifted gears and took on teaching her first yoga class in 2003. Brenda then moved west to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic West. After practicing Chiropractic in the bay area for a couple years, the Taylor family moved north to Mt. Hood. In 2012, Brenda and her husband Nick founded Zig Zag Zen a Chiropractic, Yoga, Movement Studio. Dr. Brenda serves her community with state of the art, compassionate family and sport Chiropractic care, yoga classes, and mentoring of yoga teachers. She reaches beyond her community by teaching classes internationally, for business conferences, retreats, and providing workshops. As a 500 hour Yoga teacher, Dr. Brenda has been trained by some of the most respected teachers in the western yoga community. Outside the studio, she practices the yoga of being a wife and mom of two. Dr. Brenda Taylor offers yoga classes in many styles because she believes that yoga is a healing art that can be modified for everyone’s enjoyment.
