I teach in my own style, Therapeutic Vinyasa, by combining elements of Yoga Therapy and Anusara. I strive to create classes that unite mind, body and breath. Students will flow through a series of asanas linking their breath and movement in a moving meditation. Classes focus on alignments and postures that both tone and soften the whole body. The classes are designed so that students of all levels can build up strength, integrity and freedom in the neck, shoulders, and core as these are essential to keeping our body healthy both now and well into old age.
I also teach Mommy Baby Yoga, Family Yoga and Kids Yoga. I think that yoga should be accessible to everyone whatever stage of life they are in.
In 2008, I moved to Taiwan. It was here, as my practice deepened, that I felt the desire to share the peace and inner stillness I had found through my own practice. My training includes Yoga Therapy in the Svatha style () and Anusara Yoga. These two styles have greatly influenced my teaching. Yoga therapy has shown me how to create classes for students of all levels and to fully integrate the breath while Anusara has taught me how to perform a pose safely while having fun.
