Brigitte has been a teacher in some capacity since preadolescence when she taught martial arts to both children and adults. She was drawn to yoga in 2009 as a healthy way to help manage her stress due to a job that was very emotionally charged. The feelings of mental clarity and internal peace that she got from the sacred time on her mat kept bringing her back and she felt compelled to learn more about the yoga lifestyle. Brigitte completed her 200 Hour RYT Training at Sutra Yoga and Barre under the guidance of Janay and Gary Zukerman with an additional 18 Hour Restorative Teacher Certificate from Judith Curiel. She is registered with Yoga Alliance. Brigitte is compassionate, introspective, and values the integration and benefits of the mind-body connection. She weaves a little bit of the yogic philosophy into each of her classes so that it can be easily applied into your daily life if that speaks to you. Brigitte hopes to encourage others on a path towards balance and wellness through a journey of breath inspired movements.
