Britt Tagg has been practicing yoga for over 12 years. Her first introduction to yoga was in her living room where she stumbled upon an hour-long television program taught by a teacher named Steve Ross. These ‘classes’ were playful and fun and the music made you want to shake your butt and the teacher encouraged that. Britt believes that allowing people to enjoy their practice and to be comfortable with themselves is an essential way to foster a long-term yoga experience where the benefits are an evolution of physical and mental self- improvement. Yoga has given her a quality of life that she is enthusiastic to share. Her classes emphasize the importance of practicing safe alignment, body awareness, and deep breathing, but she also tries to keep her classes light-hearted and creative. Britt is a life-long artist and painter and her style of teaching yoga is clearly informed by the fluid stroke of a brush on canvas.

Ever since stepping onto a paddle board (SUP) in 2012 in Santa Cruz, California, she's been hooked. She feels that combining SUP and yoga greatly enhances the mind-body connection achieved on a yoga mat by increasing balance and awareness through deliberate asanas on the water. Britt has been out on the water at least twice a week this summer and feels fortunate to be teaching yoga every week at Leaser Lake.

Britt has taught extensively at yoga studios throughout the region, including: Lehigh Valley Yoga Center, West End Yoga, Moon Dog Yoga, The Yoga Loft of Bethlehem and Emmaus Yoga, where she was the co-founder. She has also taught at OAA - Integrated Health Campus, Lehigh Country Club, Saucon Valley Country Club, Eyer Middle School as well as a host of private and corporate locations. Britt also holds classes for the Parkland High School Cross Country Team during their regular season.

Britt rocks!

I've been taking classes with Britt for about two years. She's fun and her practice is challenging but safe. I highly recommend her classes to yogis who want to be challenged in a relaxed atmosphere.
