When I felt my fire and enthusiasm for life fading away, I embarked on a deep journey to peel off the layers I had been wearing for so many years. I left a career in the finance world and began the internal journey of reflection. My goal to seek a life in complete harmony with my own truth led me on a 4 month expedition through Southeast Asia where I completely immersed myself in culture, yoga and meditation.
Being a yoga teacher has been my largest gift. In my vinyasa flow, yin & restorative classes I create a safe space to explore, transform, connect and sweat. My sole intention when I teach is to empower each of my students to grow both physically and energetically while having fun and letting go of anything that no longer serves them.
I have been blessed to teach in 5 different countries including: Bali, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar and the US. In every class I teach I bring a balance of my experiences from these countries, a deep understanding in structural anatomy, along with the creative and traditional style of vinyasa flow. I bring vibrancy into my classes by integrating dance, pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation and energetic asana (postures). The wisdoms and traditions I learned while traveling are incorporated into every practice I create. I completed my YTT 200 hr certification through the amazing School of Sacred Arts directed by Simone McKay.
We all have a fire within us! This fire ignites when we find our passion and thrives as we live by our truth. During our practices together, I invite you to allow yourself the space and time to honor your body and find more mental and internal clarity. This space can act as your own journey to explore within and to identify your own truth. Whether our practice is a meditation, an energetic vinyasa flow, yin or restorative, my goal is to guide you through an escape, your own journey of transformation, within the classroom.
